Dr. Lyle Becourtney, Licensed Psychologist

name Dr. Lyle Becourtney, a New York State Licensed Psychologist and Certified Anger Management Professional, specializes in anger management for teens and adults. In 1996, he obtained his doctorate degree in psychology from Pace University. As part of his training, Dr. Becourtney completed an externship in the adolescent partial hospitalization program at Metropolitan Hospital and an internship at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, both located in NYC.

Thereafter, Dr. Becourtney worked in an adolescent residential treatment center in Yonkers, NY, at Great Neck North High School, and since 1999 at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ.

Over the course of his career, while working in both clinical and school settings, Dr. Becourtney has treated a multitude of clients who have difficulty managing their anger. Through his innovative program, Dr. Becourtney continues to help many teens and adults significantly improve their anger management skills.
